TOTAL GENDER EQUALITIES

The Agency for Gender Equality in cooperation with the Kosovo Institute for Public Administration (KIPA) has prepared the new curriculum for gender equality and has selected and organized the first training for Gender Equality Trainers, which was held on 21-29 March.

The purpose of this training was to introduce candidates applying for gender equality trainers to the methodology and skills required for the positions, in addition to giving them the opportunity to improve their knowledge on gender equality. During these days the participants were better acquainted with the modules that will be presented during the training sessions. All the training was focused on lectures and presentations from participants as well as individual work.

At the end participants were evaluated by a committee composed of Mrs. Refike Sülchevsi, general director of KIPA, Mrs. Nebahate Macedonci from GiZ, and Mrs. Leonora Selmani from AGE.

The training was divided into two parts: the first two days on 21 and 22 March 2017 were held in Prishtina while the other three days 27-29 were held in Durres, Albania.

This project is being supported by the German organization GiZ.

Trainings on Gender Equality will begin to be held this year.
