With invitation of UN Women, the Agency for Gender Equality is participating in tow days regional forum {Promotion and implementation of Istambul Convention in Western Balkans and Turkey. The representatives from AGE presented regarding the achievements towards implementation of Istambul Convention, legislation and coordinating mechanism in central and local level. Also, challenges and recommendations were discussed regarding the future towards execution of this convention. The Regional Forum to promote implementation of Istambul Convention in Western Balkans and Turkey will be organized on 09-10 October in Tirana, with aim to bring best practices and ensure cooperation of all actors to fulfil recommendations of Grevios, for an integrated response to combat the violence towards women and soften the unequally in regional, national and local level.
