On occasion of marking the 25 November, International Day to Eliminate the Violence against Women, the Agency for Gender Equality has continued the campaign of 16 Days of Activism by Enlighten the Government Building, Office of PM with the orange color and symbol of white ribbon.
The 16 days activism is world campaign that is organized every year. The campaigns begin on 25 November and it is known as International Day to Eliminate the Violence towards Women and ends on 10 December, Human Rights Day. Every year through a campaign it is made a call for global actions to raise the awareness in whole world and prevent elimination of violence towards woman and girls. The symbol of this campaign is white ribbon, while official color during campaign is orange color which symbolizes a bright future and a free world without violence against women. The Government Building will remain enlighten from 17:00 hrs. till 24:00 hrs. This initiative was supported from Swedish Funds of Swedish SIDA.
