The Agency for Gender Equality/OPM is organizing the workshop to draft the Kosovo Program for Gender Equality 2025-2035

The Agency for Gender Equality within the office of Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo is organizing for two days in the raw starting from today the first workshop to draft the Kosovo Program for Gender equality 2025-2035 (KPGE).

In this workshop are taking part the Members of Working Group of KPGE as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, civil and international who are contributing with expertise and their experience towards strategic national development of gender equality.

During the Workshop it was presented the Analyses of Situation for main three pillars of the program;

  • I Pillar: Economic Empowerment and Life,
  • II Pillar: Human Development, Media and Gender Relations,
  • III Pillar: Women, Peace and Security,

The Process of Kosovo Program for Gender Equality 2025-2035 is built over the success and lessons learned from KPGE 2020-2024 which aims to ascertain national vision, aims and main objectives as well as action plan with respective responsibilities, sources and tome terms to execute the activities which are linked to:

  • advancement of principals of gender equality,
  • fulfillment of women rights,
  • Building a peaceful prosperous and equal society for women and men in Kosovo.
