Agency for Gender Equality with delegation with activists from Ukraine and representatives of Denis Mukwege Foundation completed a visit in centers Medica Kosova and Medica Gjakova.

The Agency for Gender Equality with delegation and activist from Ukraine and representatives of Denis Mukwege Foundation on 22 October 2019 made a visit on centers as Medica Kosova and Medica Gjakova in Gjakova. The delegation was having the possibility to know closer with work and support by these organizations that offer for survivors of sexual violence during war. The representatives of these two organizations Mrs. Veprore Shehu and Mrs. Mirlinda Sda told about the process of treating the survivors of sexual violence, activity which they are developing in years by focusing on important role that plays economic empowerment through different programs as a path to overcome the stigma and socio-economic rehabilitation.

The visit of delegation of activists from Ukraine, representatives of civil society and Mekwege Foundation was completed through Swedish Embassy-SIDA and project of technical assistance AGE-N CPM International.
