The Agency for Gender Equality in cooperation with Prime Minister of Republic of Kosovo Mr. Avdullah Hoti held a meeting with representatives of Kosovo Shelter Network, where it was discussed about conditions of work in these institutions that are protecting the victims of violence. The aim of meeting is close knowledge with the work of shelters, challenges and problems which are facing due to pandemic.

The Prime Minister Hoti promised that through a Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare will be revieved all possibilities to achieve a szstematic and longterm solution for the issue of financing these centers where the victims of domestic violence have found shellter, that are mainly women and children, but also other forms of violence of trafficing.

The Prime Minister Hoti expressed  graditute and he is thankful for the work of shellters and has offered support of goverment in protection and resocialization of victims of violence by ensuring their full confidenciality about their identity.
